An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary de Havilland DH-82A Tiger Moth training biplane in 1:72 scale. This edition from the Czech manufacturer Kovozavody Prostejov brings schemes and decals in the markings of British naval aviation (the Royal Navy). The package contains injection-molded plastic and the parts for finishing the aircraft faithfully.
The Tiger Moth was one of the most widespread basic trainers. Thousands of pilots went through their training on this reliable and forgiving biplane before and during the Second World War. Besides the classic role at flying schools, the aircraft also served with naval units for training and liaison duties.
On a biplane, pay attention to seating the upper wing and the struts accurately; a building jig or temporary supports until the glue dries both work well. The rigging wires can be added with fine thread. Apply primer before painting, lay the decals over a gloss coat and seal them with a matte coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
