Dornier Do 17Z-2 1:72 from ICM - an injection-molded plastic kit of the German bomber of the start of the Second World War, with a detailed cockpit interior.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale captures the German twin-engine Dornier Do 17Z-2 bomber. The package contains plastic sprues, clear parts and decals for several marking options. The model is notable for its finely engraved panel lines, a well-worked cockpit interior and good clear parts. ICM is a Ukrainian manufacturer.
The Do 17Z was the high point of the development of the Do 17 line, with a completely new glazed forward fuselage (the Waffenkopf) and Bramo 323 Fafnir radial engines. The Z-1 and Z-2 versions appeared in 1939 and 1940 and took part in practically all the Luftwaffe operations of the early period: the Polish and French campaigns, the Battle of Britain and the fighting in the Balkans and on the Eastern Front.
Work up and paint the cockpit with its interior before you close up the fuselage. Use liquid cement for plastic and a primer, and mask the clear parts. An airbrush suits the German camouflage of the period (the RLM shades).
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
