About product

Door handles 1:72 (Firma49)

A set of 3D-printed resin door handles and hardware in 1:72 scale meant for detailing the doors of buildings, vehicles and scenic items. It is not a model but a group of very small accessories that replace simplified castings and give a scene the fineness the small scale calls for.

What the accessory is for

The miniature handles go on the doors of houses, gates and vehicle cabs. In 1:72 scale these are truly tiny items, and even so they noticeably raise the realism and break up the empty areas of doors and facades.

Tips for working and painting

Wash the mold release agent off the parts and separate them from the print supports with the greatest care; with pieces this small, tweezers and good light pay off. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and do the sanding with respiratory protection. Pick out the hardware with a metal shade and a fine wash.

Who it is for

  • Builders of dioramas at the small 1:72 scale
  • Modelers detailing buildings and vehicles
  • Experienced modelers used to miniature resin

The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
