This item is not a model of an aircraft but an accurate resin (3D-printed) replacement for the wheels of plastic models of the F4D-1 Skyray in 1:72 scale. The designation Type 1 distinguishes a particular tire pattern from the Type 2 variant - choose according to the tread that matches your subject.
The tires have a weighted, slightly settled contact patch imitating the weight of the aircraft, and finely rendered treads. The wheel hubs carry crisp detail that is hard to reproduce in injection-molded plastic in this scale.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut the print supports away and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding and apply a primer before painting.
This is an accessory for a build, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
