Ejection seat warning triangles 1:72 are waterslide decals of the warning triangles marked around the area of the ejection seat on real aircraft. The package holds two identical sheets.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a sheet of waterslide decals, not a kit. It adds the small technical markings that the great majority of kits either leave out or print inaccurately and too coarsely. On real jet aircraft with an ejection seat, warning triangles are placed around the cabin and on the relevant covers, marking the danger zone and the places that must not be touched for ground personnel and rescue crews alike. It is precisely such small things that in 1:72 scale make the difference between a model that looks like a toy and one that reads as convincing.
According to the name of the item the package holds two identical sheets, so it will do for several models or serve as a reserve. Before ordering, compare the shape and the colors of the markings with the documentation for the particular machine you are building, because they differ according to the maker of the seat and the operator.
Small decals are prone to silvering, because air easily stays under a small area of film. So apply a gloss varnish to the surface and let it cure. Trim the triangles close to the printing with a sharp new knife, soak them briefly and move them with the tip of a damp brush rather than with tweezers, so that the film does not tear. Press a drop of water out from under the decal with a cotton bud from the center toward the edges. On broken-up areas and engraved lines a softener helps. At the end even the whole model out with a matte varnish, which hides the edges of the film completely.
This is an accessory to plastic kits, not a model. The kit, paints, varnish and softener are not included in the package.
