A universal photo-etched sheet with the finely engraved pattern of a modern type A grille in 1:72 scale. It is NOT a standalone model but a detailing material. It serves for making and replacing grilles, grates and perforated surfaces on modern equipment and other models, where you want to replace coarse plastic parts with faithful etching. The maker is the Czech brand Hauler.
Etched grilles are used on the grillework of engine compartments, cooling grates and ventilation openings. The modern type A pattern corresponds to the grilles of modern equipment. The universal format lets you cut the parts to the size of the particular application.
Cut out the shape you need, form it to the base if necessary and glue it on with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the etching before painting, apply a primer for metal and bring the grille out with shading and a subtle patina.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
