The Eduard 1:72 F-111D/F is a photo-etch detail set, not a model. It adds to a plastic kit of the F-111 Aardvark the fine metal detail that injection-molded plastic cannot manage.

This product is not a kit but a photo-etch detail set in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It contains fine etched parts that sharpen and enliven a plastic F-111 Aardvark model — they complete and replace the detail that injection-molded plastic cannot render faithfully.
The General Dynamics F-111 was an American twin-engine combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, designed for long-range strikes and low-level penetration to the target with the help of terrain-following radar. The D and F versions differed in their avionics fit and engines; the F was among the most capable strike variants. The crew of two sat side by side, and the machine became known for its long range and its load.
The etched parts are meant for advanced modelers. The individual pieces are separated from the fret with a sharp knife, bent in a bending tool or over a sharp edge and joined with super glue (cyanoacrylate); larger surfaces can also be soldered. Degrease the parts before gluing so that they hold well. You unify the assembly with a coat of primer, followed by the airbrush and a light wash to bring the detail out. The set is an accessory to a plastic F-111 Aardvark kit in 1:72 scale, which has to be obtained separately.
