A resin detail part, not an aircraft kit. This set of finely cast resin replaces the ejection seat of the American Lockheed F-117A Nighthawk stealth attack aircraft in 1:72 scale, including the suggested seat belts. The Nighthawk was the first machine in series service shaped according to the principles of low radar reflectivity, with its characteristic faceted form. The part is intended for more experienced modelers who work with resin.
With an open cockpit the seat is one of the most conspicuous details. A resin casting offers a faithful shape of the shell and finely cast belt loops of a kind that a plastic part from the box hardly achieves. Once painted and discreetly weathered, the cockpit looks realistic and gains depth. Even with a partly open canopy, where the seat is only glimpsed, care taken over this conspicuous detail always pays off.
