F-16D Fighting Falcon 1:72 from Hasegawa — an injection-molded plastic kit of the two-seat version of the American multirole fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the two-seat version of the American General Dynamics F-16D Fighting Falcon multirole fighter in 1:72 scale from the Japanese firm Hasegawa. Unlike the single-seat C version it has a two-seat cockpit with an extended canopy. The box holds injection-molded plastic sprues, a clear canopy and a set of decals.
The F-16D is the two-seat version of the widely used F-16 fighter. The second seat behind the pilot serves an instructor during training, but the aircraft also keeps its full combat capability and can be sent on live missions. Compared with the single-seat version it has a longer glazed canopy covering both seats. Otherwise it shares the modernized avionics, the single engine and the ability to carry a wide range of armament with the C version. It serves with the US Air Force and with a number of other countries.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with thin liquid plastic cement. Finish the two-seat cockpit before closing the fuselage up, and mask the clear canopy before spraying. Lay down a primer and spray the gray schemes with an airbrush in thin coats. Assemble the pylons and the armament separately. A light wash will bring out the engraved lines.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
