This set is a resin accessory in 1:72 scale, not an airplane model. It replaces the shallow gear bays of an F-16I Sufa plastic kit with a deep resin casting carrying well-defined ribbing, runs of piping and wall structure. The result is a faithful view into the gear bays, which raises the realism of a model markedly. The set is meant for more experienced modelers.
The F-16I Sufa is the Israeli two-seat version of the F-16 derived from a later block, adapted for multirole and strike operations with long range. Its hallmarks are the additional conformal tanks on the fuselage spine and expanded avionics. Precisely shaped gear bays are among the details that stand out easily even in a small scale.
These are resin parts for advanced builders. Wash the castings to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces with airway protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); try the parts dry before you fix them. It pays to paint and weather the bays before the airframe is closed.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The aircraft kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
