Eduard F-18C masks 1:72 is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set for a model of the American F/A-18C Hornet carrier-based aircraft. It gives crisp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage. It is not a model but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:72 scale is intended for a plastic model of the American single-seat F/A-18C Hornet carrier-based multirole aircraft. It is neither a kit nor a model in its own right, but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want crisp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage areas without tediously cutting tape by hand.
The F/A-18C Hornet is an American single-seat carrier-based multirole combat aircraft which for many years made up the backbone of the US Navy strike squadrons. It handles air combat as well as attacks on ground and surface targets. The cockpit is covered by a large one-piece hinged canopy with an excellent view, whose clean frame needs masking accurately while it is painted.
Degrease the glazing of the large canopy and let it dry. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them on the frame of the windscreen and on the hinged section, press them into the edges. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The masks for the wheels separate the tire from the disc. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
