Quinta Studio F-35B 3D interior 1:72

A pre-colored set of interior details from Quinta Studio, printed by 3D technology on decal paper. It contains color-finished cockpit elements, the instrument panel, the side panels, the controls and the harness, which are transferred with no need for painting. The set is intended for models of the F-35B fighter in 1:72 scale. The parts are shaped to fit the Academy kit.

The real subject

The F-35B Lightning II is the variant of the American fifth-generation fighter with short take-off and vertical landing (STOVL). It serves with the Marine Corps and allied navies, and is marked out by low-observable features and a modern glass cockpit.

Use and fitting

• Cut the individual elements out and apply them as wet decals onto a previously painted cockpit surface.
• Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution, as they could damage the 3D printed material.
• Secure thicker parts with a water-based glue or gloss varnish.
• In a small scale it makes detailed finishing of the cockpit markedly simpler.
