This product is a set of pre-painted photo-etched seatbelts from the manufacturer Eduard in 1:72 scale in the steel finish (STEEL), in a gray color scheme. It is not a model or a kit but an accessory intended to fit out the ejection seats of the F-4 Phantom II jet fighter. Steel is more pliable than brass, so the belts are easier to shape into a realistic sag.
The colored belts replace the flat or missing straps of the ejection seats and add the grab handles and the buckles. They are pre-painted, so there is no masking and varnishing of the individual straps. The set is intended for F-4 Phantom II models in 1:72 scale; the gray variant matches certain versions and schemes, so check whether your model needs gray or green belts before you buy.
Separate the belts with a sharp knife, shape them with tweezers and fix them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). With a self-adhesive version light pressure is enough, but secure exposed places with a drop of glue all the same. Handle the steel parts carefully so that they do not get bent.
The set is an accessory only. The kit, the seats and paints are not included in the package.
