An add-on photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard for refining the model of the American F4U-4 Corsair carrier fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit but a set of fine metal parts that lift the detail of the model.
The Vought F4U Corsair, with its distinctive inverted gull wings, was among the best carrier fighters of the late Second World War and also fought in Korea. The F4U-4 version received a more powerful engine and a four-blade propeller, which raised its performance further.
The etched parts refine the cockpit above all and add small external details. Separate the parts with a sharp knife, make the bends in a photo-etch bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue or with glue for photo-etched parts. Degrease the surfaces before gluing and paint the small parts with an airbrush.
The photo-etched set is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
