The Grumman F6F Hellcat was an American single-seat carrier fighter of the Second World War, used above all by the Navy in the Pacific. It carried six 12.7 mm machine guns in the wings. The F6F-3 and F6F-5 versions were among the most widespread. Open gun bays make a rewarding diorama subject.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand with your airways protected. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray the inner surfaces, bring them up with a wash and drybrush them lightly to pull out the detail.
