A plastic kit of the American F/A-18A Hornet multirole carrier aircraft in 1:72 scale from the Hobby Boss Easy Assembly line. The set has a low part count and large assemblies, so it builds quickly and easily. The package contains a clear canopy part and decals for two color options.
The F/A-18 Hornet is a twin-engine carrier aircraft able to carry out fighter as well as attack tasks; the A version is the single-seat early execution. The machine is the mainstay of the carrier aviation of the US Navy and serves with other users as well. It is valued for its reliability, its handling and its ability to carry a wide range of armament.
Thanks to the large parts the build is undemanding; even so, clean up the joints of the fuselage and the air intakes. Use a liquid modeling cement on the plastic and apply a primer before painting. The gray naval camouflage comes into its own with an airbrush and graded shades; settle the striking decals onto a gloss surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
