A resin detail set in 1:72 scale from Quickboost. It contains the fuel access service panel in the open, swung-back state for the Fairchild A-10 A/C Thunderbolt II attack aircraft. The open panel reveals the internal detail and gives the model the look of an aircraft under service.
It is not an aircraft model but an accessory. The finely cast part replaces the corresponding spot on the airframe and lets you show the internal structure that a closed panel hides. Ideal for a diorama with ground crew.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut them from the casting blocks and set them into the airframe with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand the transitions smooth, protecting your airways, and use a primer before painting; bring out the interior spaces with a wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
