The 1:72 Phantom FG.1 engine exhaust nozzles are a resin detail set from the manufacturer Aires. It is not a model but an accessory – faithful engine nozzles for models of the British naval Phantom FG.1.

This product is NOT a kit but an aftermarket accessory. The set contains detailed resin castings of the exhaust nozzles of both engines of the British Phantom FG.1 version, in 1:72 scale; Aires sets also tend to have small photo-etched parts added. It replaces the shallow plastic nozzles from the base kit with faithful multi-part exhausts. The manufacturer is Aires (the Aires and Quickboost family).
British Phantoms powered by Rolls-Royce Spey engines have characteristically different and wider nozzles than the American versions. The resin parts of this set capture their shape as well as their inner rendering, so that the rear of the model reads faithfully. Intended for models of the Phantom FG.1 (the McDonnell Douglas Phantom II in the British naval version) in 1:72 scale.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with super glue; sand with respiratory protection. You will shade the inside of the nozzles with metallic and heat-stained shades, and bring out the petals with a dry brush.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
