A masking set 1:72 Fiat CR.32 from Eduard for painting a model of the Italian fighter biplane in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of masks from the Czech maker Eduard for a model of the Italian Fiat CR.32 fighter biplane in 1:72 scale. The masks are cut to the shape of the areas that are covered while spraying, so measuring and cutting masking tape on the model itself falls away. In the small 1:72 scale that tells the most, because a strip of tape cut by hand tends to be wider than the detail it is meant to cover.
The Fiat CR.32 was an Italian single-seat fighter biplane of the 1930s with a V12 engine and fixed landing gear. It was marked out by exceptional agility, a sturdy structure and the typical arrangement of struts between the wings. It made its name in the Spanish Civil War, where in the hands of experienced pilots it could keep up even with more modern opponents, and in smaller numbers it still flew over the Mediterranean at the beginning of the Second World War. Besides the Regia Aeronautica a number of foreign users flew it. The day of the biplane fighter was ending, however, and against all-metal monoplanes the CR.32 no longer stood a chance.
For modelers who build the biplane in 1:72 scale and want clean edges without cutting by hand. It is neither a model nor a kit; it is an accessory for the painting stage.
