Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9 1:72 is a colored self-adhesive Zoom photo-etched set from Eduard that details the cockpit of a model quickly without any need for painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a colored self-adhesive photo-etched set from the Zoom line, not an aircraft model. It holds pre-painted photo-etched parts aimed at the cockpit, the instrument panel and the seat belts. The parts are printed in color and carry an adhesive layer, so they do not have to be painted or sprayed. The set is in 1:72 scale and is meant for plastic models of the Fw 190D-9 fighter.
The Fw 190D-9, nicknamed the Dora, was the final production development of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 fighter at the end of the Second World War. The liquid-cooled inverted V12 Junkers Jumo 213, with its characteristically lengthened nose and tail, improved performance at high altitude. The machine was used above all in the defense of German airspace and as an escort.
The colored self-adhesive parts are simply popped out of the photo-etched fret and laid onto the plastic part; pick up the small pieces with tweezers. For a permanent joint a small amount of super glue can be used. The detail comes into its own after the recesses are darkened lightly and the whole cockpit gets a matte coat.
This is an add-on set, not a model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
