This set is a resin accessory in 1:72 scale, not an airplane model. It contains precisely cast landing gear wheels for the Fw 190A-3 and A-5 variants, and with them painting masks that make it easier to separate the tire from the hub cleanly while painting. Resin wheels have a crisper tread and a more accurate shape than ordinary plastic parts and are meant for more experienced modelers.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was one of the most capable German fighters of the Second World War, powered by a BMW 801 radial engine. The A-3 and A-5 versions belonged to the early and middle series of the A line and differed in details of the airframe and the armament. A sturdy wide-track landing gear was characteristic of this type.
These are resin parts for advanced builders. Wash the wheels to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting block and clean up the surface with airway protection. Stick the masks onto the wheel, spray the shade of the tire or the hub and peel them off once dry; you get a crisp dividing line without laborious brushwork.
