The Balkenkreuz was part of the basic national marking of German aircraft of the Second World War and differed in style from period to period. The set lets you apply cleanly printed crosses with exact proportions, so as to replace the decals from the box or to complete a scheme of your own.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss coat, so that no silvering occurs. Use a decal softener so that the marking settles onto the surface and the engraving; once dry, even the surface out with a matte or semi-gloss coat to suit the scheme you have chosen.
