Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the luxury Mercedes-Benz 770K Grosser passenger car of the second series (W150) in 1:72 scale from ACE. The model captures a massive formal automobile with a long wheelbase, used by the leading figures of Germany at the time. ACE offers the 770K W150 in several body styles (a limousine and an open Tourenwagen), including an armored variant; check the actual body style and the markings against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Mercedes-Benz 770 Grosser was among the most luxurious and most massive cars of its day. The second series W150, built from 1938 to 1943, had a large-displacement supercharged eight-cylinder engine and a massive chassis, and in the armored versions also an armored body and bulletproof glass. The car served as a formal and ceremonial automobile and only a few hundred were built.
In the small 1:72 scale the parts are tiny — cut them off carefully and glue them with a thin cement for plastic. Glue the glazing with a canopy glue, so that the plastic does not go cloudy. Spray the body with an airbrush to a smooth black surface and polish it for a formal shine; pick out the chrome trim and the window frames with a brush and a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
