A detail color photo-etched set in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, belonging to the STEEL line. It is not a submarine model but an accessory: a collection of pre-printed color metal flags and pennants for a model of a German Second World War U-boat. The photo-etched flags replace flat paper or decal solutions and can be shaped so that they look like cloth in the wind. Thanks to the STEEL construction they are strong and hold their shape. Check the exact make-up of the fret against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
Separate the photo-etched flags carefully and shape them gently with your fingers or with tweezers into a natural wave. Fix them with cyanoacrylate glue. The color printing is finished; any edges and the reverse side can be touched up with a brush. Work with a magnifier and in good light.
For modelers who want to add faithful, shapeable flags to their submarine model. The submarine model, glue and paints are not part of this set.
