The Grumman G-44 Widgeon was a small twin-engined amphibian aircraft of the late 1930s, used in civil service and by the military. The propellers are a prominent feature on a model, so a more accurate casting noticeably lifts the overall impression.
The cast resin propellers have a faithful blade profile. Cut the parts from the casting blocks, clean them up and fit them to the engine nacelles of the model.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, sand them gently with respiratory protection and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Before painting, a primer suited to resin is recommended; propeller blades are usually finished in flat black with colored tips.
