This is a set of self-adhesive masking templates from Peewit in 1:72 scale, cut from kabuki paper. The mask covers the Grumman G-44, J4F-1, J4F-2, OA-14 Widgeon and Gosling Mk.I variants of the amphibian. It follows the glazing frames exactly, so spraying gives sharp, clean transitions and the clear areas stay clear.
The Grumman G-44 Widgeon was a small twin-engine amphibian. It was used in civil transport and in military service, among other things for patrol and liaison duties; the British version carried the designation Gosling.
Lift the masks off the backing, apply them to the relevant frames and press them down. It is a good idea to spray the color of the inner frames first and then the outer shade; once dry, remove the masks carefully.
This is a masking accessory, not a kit. Neither the model nor paints are included in the package.
