A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. This set in finely cast resin replaces the early exhausts of the British Hawker Hurricane Mk. I fighter in 1:72 scale. Early machines had a different, simpler shape of exhaust stubs from later aircraft, and the casting captures them with hollowed outlets more accurately than the parts from the box.
The exhausts along the sides of the engine cowling are very much on show on the Hurricane, and their early shape is a recognition feature of the early machines. The resin casting offers thin walls and open outlets, so the exhausts do not have to be laboriously drilled. Once painted in metallic and rusty shades and lightly weathered, the burnt metal looks entirely natural.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The basic kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
