A resin set of exhausts for a model of the British Hawker Tempest fighter in 1:72 scale from Quickboost (Aires). The set replaces the plastic exhaust stubs with precisely cast resin parts with hollow outlets, which sharpen the sides of the engine cowling.
The Hawker Tempest was a British single-seat fighter from the end of the Second World War, developed from the Typhoon. In the version with the Napier Sabre engine it was one of the fastest piston fighters of its day and it also proved itself against flying bombs.
First wash the resin parts to remove mold release residue, carefully separate them from the casting blocks and sand the marks away. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways when sanding resin. Apply a primer before painting and spray the colors in thin coats with an airbrush. The hollow exhaust ends come into their own once blackened and lightly worked with exhaust staining.
This is not an airplane model but a resin accessory for more experienced modelers. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
