Replacement heads for figures in 1:72 scale with the kepi as headgear, that is with the low cap with a flat horizontal crown and a peak that the French army made famous. It is an accessory for figures; a figure on its own does not arise from it. The number of heads in the package is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
On a figure the headgear is the first thing a viewer notices, and it determines where a scene belongs. A kepi turns a generic military figure into a Frenchman faster than any decal. Exchanging the head at the same time removes the usual defect of kit sets, where a whole group has the same face and the same direction of gaze.
Cut the original head off at the level of the neck with a sharp blade or a fine saw and level the surface. Drill a hole into the body and into the new head with a micro drill and reinforce the joint with a piece of wire, so that the small part does not work loose. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wash and degrease the parts before painting and apply a thin layer of primer. A kepi stands out when you separate the crown and the peak by shade and only suggest the edge with a lighter stroke; a thick line would swamp the shape in this scale.
Figures, a model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
