This injection-molded plastic kit from the Ukrainian company Roden captures the early He 111A version of the German twin-engine bomber in 1:72 scale. The set is meant to be glued and painted and holds decals for period color schemes.
The He 111 came about in the mid-1930s as a twin-engine mid-wing monoplane. The early A version was considered underpowered, and several of these machines were delivered to China, where they went into Chinese service. The later He 111 versions then received more powerful engines and a new nose shape.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and clean them up. Glue with a thin cement for plastic, use a primer and an airbrush. Pay attention to the clear parts of the glazed sections and to seating the engine nacelles carefully.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
