An injection-molded plastic kit of the French Hotchkiss H39 light tank in 1:72 scale from RPM. The model is supplied on sprues for assembly and painting. The exact contents of the package and the marking options are stated on the box of the edition.
The Hotchkiss H39 was the most advanced production development of the Hotchkiss series. Compared with the earlier versions it had a more powerful engine, and many vehicles received a longer 37 mm gun with better armor-piercing performance. The type took part in the fighting of 1940 in larger numbers and after the French surrender it also served in foreign armies.
Use liquid cement for plastic and carefully clean up the seams on the cast surfaces and the running gear. Finish the running gear and the interior before you close the hull. A primer and an airbrush are a good choice; French vehicles carried multicolor camouflage with dark dividing lines. Fine-tune the weathering with a wash in the recesses and with mud and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
