Responsibility details are not available.
An exactly cast resin propeller for the Soviet Polikarpov I-153 biplane fighter in 1:72 scale. It is an aftermarket detail part with an accurate shape for the blades and the hub that will replace the plastic propeller from the base kit. It is not a standalone airplane model but an accessory for a more accurate powerplant.
The Polikarpov I-153 Chaika was a Soviet single-seat biplane fighter with a cranked gull-shaped upper wing and retractable landing gear, powered by a radial engine. It was used at the turn of the 1930s and 1940s, among other places in the fighting at Khalkhin Gol and in the opening stages of the war on the Eastern Front. An exactly shaped propeller is a prominent feature on a finished model.
Resin parts call for more careful work than plastic: first wash them to remove mold release residue, separate them carefully from the casting block (the gate) and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Separate the propeller blades carefully, they are thin and fragile. Protect your airways while sanding. Apply a primer before painting.
The part is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
