Ilmari Juutilainen decals - Finland's most successful ace in 1:72 scale from SBS Model. Markings of the machines flown by the pilot with 94 confirmed victories.
Responsibility details are not available.
A themed decal sheet from the Hungarian maker SBS Model devoted to Ilmari Juutilainen, the most successful Finnish fighter pilot of the Second World War. The decals in 1:72 scale make it possible to render the machines connected with the career of this exceptional airman.
Eino Ilmari Juutilainen achieved 94 confirmed kills and is regarded as the most successful fighter pilot who did not fly in German service. During the Winter War and the Continuation War he went through several types - from the Fokker D.XXI through the Brewster model 239 to the Messerschmitt Bf 109 G - and he received Finland's highest decorations for his achievements. His machines are among the most sought-after subjects of Finnish aviation of all.
Apply the decals over a gloss surface, cut the individual motifs out with a minimal margin and seat them with a damp brush. Align personal emblems and numbers according to photographs or the instructions before they dry; a softener will help the decal follow the panel lines. Seal the finished model with a satin or matte coat in line with Finnish practice.
The sheet contains decals only - the aircraft kits are not included in the package.
