The 1:72 Iskander-M SS-26 painting mask from SX-Art makes spraying the camouflage scheme of the Russian missile system easier.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive painting masks from SX-Art for a model of the Russian 9K720 Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system, NATO reporting name SS-26 Stone, in 1:72 scale. The masks bound the individual camouflage fields and the glazing and allow clean, repeatable spraying of a complex camouflage pattern without brush work by hand.
The Iskander-M is a modern mobile short-range missile system on a high-mobility wheeled chassis. It carries ballistic missiles on a self-propelled launcher and is among the best-known pieces of present-day ground-based missile equipment.
Transfer the mask onto a degreased and ideally primed surface, press the edges down carefully around the recesses and spray with an airbrush in thin coats. On multi-color camouflage work from the lighter shades to the darker ones. Once the paint is touch-dry, peel the mask off while it is still fresh, so that the transitions stay sharp.
The mask holds no paint and no model; it is an accessory to a plastic kit.
