A resin cockpit detail set in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Aires. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory that replaces the cockpit from a plastic kit with a more accurate replica. The set typically contains the instrument panel, the side panels, the ejection seat and further elements of the cockpit. It is made for the J35F and J35J versions and meant for fitting into a matching plastic model.
The Saab 35 Draken is a Swedish supersonic fighter characterized by a double delta wing, which gave it good flying qualities and the ability to operate from short strips. The J35F version and the modernized J35J were in the armament of the Swedish Air Force and represented the mature combat form of this type.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and bond them with super glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The instruments come out after spraying with an airbrush and bringing them up with a dry brush and a wash. Dry-fit the parts before the fuselage is closed.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
