Vespid kits are among the well worked-up ones and tend to come with photo-etched parts and a metal barrel; take the exact contents of the package from the manufacturer's catalog. Early and late production differ in details, and this set matches the early version.
The Hetzer was a light German tank destroyer of the end of the Second World War, built on the proven Panzer 38(t) chassis of Czech origin. It stood out for its low silhouette and sloped armor, and its main armament was a 75 mm anti-tank gun in an enclosed casemate. Thanks to its compact dimensions and decent protection it became one of the most numerous German tank destroyers of the closing stage of the war.
Assemble and paint the running gear and any interior before closing up the hull. Bend the photo-etched parts accurately and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue, and the plastic parts with liquid modeling cement. Lay the base down with an airbrush, and for depth use washes in the recesses and around the rivets and dust or mud pigments to weather the running gear. The metal barrel adds to the fidelity of the model.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
