The shade belongs to the set of five neutral grays called Ash and Machine, intended for painting and for mixing colors on mecha, robots and military hardware. Tone 2 is somewhat lighter than tone 1 and, together with the other three gloss shades, forms a graded scale of pure grays. The surface is gloss.
