Injection-molded plastic kit of the British tactical strike aircraft SEPECAT Jaguar in the GR Mk.1/A version in 1:72 scale from the Japanese company Hasegawa. The box contains parts in gray plastic including clear cockpit parts and a decal sheet. The tooling lets you build the typical low-level RAF strike machine with external stores.
The Jaguar was a British and French twin-engined strike and tactical support aircraft. The GR Mk.1/A version served with the RAF and was fitted with a modern navigation and attack system with a digital computer and a laser rangefinder, which allowed accurate strikes during a low-level penetration at high speed. Jaguars proved themselves in European as well as desert conditions.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and take care that the fuselage and the wing leading edges meet cleanly. The cockpit and the instrument panel come out well under drybrushing and a wash. Treat the surface with a primer, apply the camouflage scheme with an airbrush and put the decals on a gloss coat, then fix them with a matte one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
