Dead Design 1:72 Jaguar T.2 (Italeri) is a masking set for the canopy glazing of the two-seat SEPECAT Jaguar T.2 trainer version in 1:72 scale. The set is cut for the kit from Italeri.

Compared with the single-seat version, the two-seat Jaguar has a substantially longer canopy and in addition a frame between the two seats. There are therefore more frames to spray and they are longer, so masking by hand with tape takes incomparably more time. This set contains pre-cut masks that are applied to the clear part and leave exactly the frames exposed. It is cut for the Jaguar T.2 kit from Italeri; the single-seat version has a differently shaped canopy and the masks are not interchangeable.
The Jaguar T.2 is the two-seat trainer version of the British SEPECAT Jaguar attack aircraft. It was created by modifying the single-seat airframe, lengthening the forward fuselage and adding a second seat in tandem. It was used for converting pilots and kept most of the equipment of the combat version, so the same camouflage scheme is built on it.
On a long canopy it pays to work in parts: apply and press down the mask on one pane, check the edge against the light and only then carry on. The most common mistake is stretching the mask to make it seat, because after spraying it returns to its original shape and the edge of the frame goes wavy. Spray the framing first in the interior color and then in the exterior shade. Before you take the mask off, run the point of a scalpel along the edge; that breaks the varnished layer and not a piece of it is torn away.
