A resin detail set from the MH models brand for a more faithful rendering of the main and front landing gear bays of the Saab JAS-39C Gripen fighter in 1:72 scale. The set is intended for more experienced modelers and replaces the matching parts of the kit with finely cast parts with a richer structure. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for a basic kit; the name specifies it for the Italeri and Bilek kits.
The Saab JAS-39 Gripen is a Swedish fourth-generation multi-role fighter. Landing gear bays tend to be simplified in plastic kits, and this set adds a realistic structure of walls, ribs and lines that are clearly visible once fitted.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, separate the casting blocks with a saw or a cutter and glue them with cyanoacrylate. We recommend dry assembly first and sanding with respiratory protection. Bring the bays out with a wash for a three-dimensional effect.
This is an add-on resin detail set, not the model itself. Glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
