A model of the Czechoslovak Letov S-16 biplane in the version for Turkey, 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Letov S-16 is a Czechoslovak two-seat biplane of the 1920s, intended for bombing and reconnaissance. It was created at the Letov works in Letnany, a company that in the republic's early years was among the mainstays of the domestic aviation industry, and besides the Czechoslovak Air Force it was also acquired by foreign customers. The letter T in the designation refers to the version delivered to Turkey. The machine has the typical construction of its day: a pair of lifting surfaces one above the other, fixed landing gear and open cockpits with the crew seated one behind the other.
This is a kit of a model of the Letov S-16 in the Turkish version, in 1:72 scale. The range of parts, the build sequence and the extent of the markings included are given by the manufacturer in the instructions, which you should follow while building.
With a biplane the order of work is what counts. Finish and paint the cockpits first, then seat the lower lifting surface, and only at the end the struts and the upper surface; try every step dry, because an error in the angle of the struts shows from every side on a finished model. Support the model while it dries so that both surfaces stay parallel. Apply the paints before the space between the surfaces is closed up, as a brush will struggle to reach in there later. Add any rigging right at the very end, from your own material.
The paints, the glue and any further tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
