Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an airplane model but a detail accessory in resin from Eduard. The set contains M-2 Browning machine guns of 12.7 mm (.50) caliber in 1:72 scale and is used to complete models of American aircraft of the Second World War. Photo-etched parts are usually included as well, so the weapons can be built in fixed and in flexible renderings.
The Browning M2 heavy machine gun of 12.7 mm caliber was among the most widespread Allied aircraft gun armament of the Second World War. American fighters and bombers carried it, among them the P-51, the P-47, the F6F Hellcat and the B-17. Faithfully cast gun bodies, barrels and grips replace simplified plastic parts and raise the realism of the gun positions and the wings.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent because of the mold release agent. Cut the fine barrels and the casting blocks off carefully with a sharp knife, sand the surfaces with respiratory protection and glue the parts with cyanoacrylate. Spray the weapons in dark steel or black and, at the end, a light emphasis of the edges with dry-brushing works well.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; these are resin and photo-etched parts for completing a plastic model. Glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package.
