An injection-molded plastic kit of the American M2A2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle in the ODS/ODS-E version, in 1:72 scale from Trumpeter. The model captures the upgraded vehicle with add-on armor and rubber band tracks. The box contains a decal sheet and an assembly instruction sheet.
The M2 Bradley is an American tracked infantry fighting vehicle designed to carry a squad of soldiers into battle and to give them fire support. It carries a 25 mm cannon and a launcher for TOW anti-tank guided missiles. The ODS version (Operation Desert Storm) gathers the modifications drawn from the fighting in the Persian Gulf, and the ODS-E variant adds further improvements. The Bradley combines mobility, protection for the crew and the infantry, and effective armament in a single vehicle.
Assemble and paint the running gear before you fit the tracks. Place the add-on armor plates and the TOW launcher carefully, because in 1:72 scale they define the silhouette of the vehicle. Choose the base coat according to the deployment: desert sand, or the three-color NATO camouflage. A dark wash will deepen the panel lines, drybrushing will pull out the edges and rivets, and fine dust pigments on the running gear will complete convincing weathering. Apply light effects sparingly so that they stay in scale.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
