The FER-Ruhla warning beacon in 1:72 scale (Armour Models)

A resin miniature warning beacon (a rotating warning light) after the East German FER-Ruhla type. It serves as a fine accessory on vehicles and in dioramas, where it completes the period atmosphere.

Use

  • fitting to the roofs of service and special vehicles
  • completing dioramas with period hardware
  • raising the credibility of a scene with a small detail

Tips for working it

Carefully separate the small resin parts from the casting blocks and wash the mold release agent off them. Paint the body of the beacon; the cover of the light can be picked out with gloss clear varnish. Glue with a small amount of cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
