The Maresal was a Romanian tank destroyer developed during the Second World War as a light, low and tough vehicle with sloped frontal armor and an anti-tank gun in a fixed superstructure. The M-04 variant was one of the later prototypes of the series. Its low silhouette and sloped armor place it among the forerunners of a concept that appeared on other tank destroyers of the period as well.
With a short-run kit, dry-fit the parts and improve the fit of the hull. Finish and paint the running gear and the interior before closing the hull. At the end add washes and pigments for mud and dust effects, which give a low vehicle a realistic weathered look.
