An extended mask set in 1:72 scale for a model of the F-16 fighter in the A and C versions. The self-adhesive masks are pre-cut to shape and match the specific Hasegawa kit. This is not a kit but an accessory used during painting.
The Fighting Falcon has a strongly domed bubble canopy with practically no windscreen frame. What gets painted on it is therefore mainly the narrow frame where it is hinged and the transition onto the fuselage, and that is exactly where hand masking most often goes wrong, because the tape has to be stretched over a double curve. A pre-cut mask respects the shape and the edge stays straight even around the curve.
New Ware sets are divided by scope. ADVANCED is the middle level, so it covers more than just the main glazing but less than the most complete variant of the series. The exact list of areas is given on the box and differs from one aircraft type to another.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multirole fighter. The F-16A version is one of the early production variants and the F-16C is a later one with extended avionics. The type is used by a number of air forces around the world.
The package holds only the self-adhesive masks. The kit, paints and glue are not included.
