Eduard 1:72 Me 163B Komet are die-cut painting masks for clean masking of the canopy glazing and the other transparent parts of a model of the rocket fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
Precisely die-cut painting masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:72 scale. It is not a model, but a modeling accessory: self-adhesive masks made of kabuki tape that cover the canopy glazing and other clear surfaces during painting. They give sharp, straight glazing frames without laborious masking by hand.
The Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet was a German rocket-powered fighter of the Second World War. It was a tailless machine with a short span and a Walter rocket motor, which gave it an extreme rate of climb and high speed, but only a very short flight duration. The B version was the most widespread combat form of this unusual interceptor.
The masks are die-cut to the shape of one particular kit in this scale. Take the part off the sheet, lay it on the glazing and press the edges down along the lines with a pointed wooden stick. Spray the frame color and peel the mask off. Kabuki tape holds reliably and leaves no adhesive behind.
This is a set of masks, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
