A plastic kit model of the Soviet supersonic fighter Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21F in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian company Modelsvit. The F version represents the early production form of this type. The model is injection molded in plastic and suits collectors of Cold War hardware.
The MiG-21 was one of the most widespread supersonic fighters in history, built in enormous numbers and operated by dozens of states. The early MiG-21F version was marked by a circular nose air intake with a movable shock cone, a delta wing and gun armament supplemented by missiles. It was a day frontline fighter with the emphasis on speed and simplicity.
We recommend working with thin cement for plastic and dry-fitting the fuselage with its distinctive nose before gluing. The model suits an airbrush; a number of machines carried natural metal or light undercarriage areas, which come out well with a good primer. Bring out the panel lines and the technical stencils with a fine wash and seal the decals with a clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
