Quinta Studio, vacuum-formed canopy for the Me 262A (1:72)

A clear canopy pressed from thin transparent film for models of the Messerschmitt Me 262A in 1:72 scale. A vacuum-formed part tends to be thinner and cleaner than a production injection-molded canopy, offers better transparency and finer framing, and makes it possible to model the cockpit open.

Use

  • A replacement for the original canopy with a thinner and more transparent part.
  • It is cut out along the outline with a sharp knife or scissors and sanded to fit.
  • It is bonded with a glue suitable for clear parts that does not attack the surface.
  • The framing is masked and sprayed; painting masks are the ideal solution.
