This is a photo-etched detail set from Eduard in 1:72 scale. It is not a standalone model but an accessory made for refining a plastic kit of the two-seat night fighter version of the jet aircraft Messerschmitt Me 262B-1a/U-1 Schwalbe. The thin metal parts replace and complete the simplified plastic elements.
Photo-etched sets of this kind refine above all both cockpits, the instrument panels, the seat belts, the side panels and small exterior details. The set is made for Me 262B-1a/U-1 models in 1:72 scale. The two-seat cockpit with its glazing lets the detail come out well.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife or photo-etch scissors and make the bends over an edge or in a bender. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Finish and paint the interior of both cockpits before closing up the fuselage. Degrease unpainted photo-etch before spraying.
The set is only an accessory. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
